Kelly: If they made you pay that $ 536. call your insurance company.( Broker, agent whoever---the guy who's interested in your welfare ) The crack didn't show up before the accident---what causes cracks ??

Sometimes arguing can be a good thing and will get you everywhere. The squeeky wheel gets the grease. You need to squeek a little!
Call your Insurance Broker and complain. He can do something about it.
Let's hope that Steve Austin remark is not a prophetic blooper. Hopefully years of safe quiet enjoyable driving.
