MY RIDES

I was driving the fire red dodge avenger ...

I'm presently driving the midnight blue pontiac grand prix ...

Had dropped my bro off at the bus station on Sunday night ...
Weird light came on ... pulled into the Petro Can at Main & Walnut ...
Yep that light would indicate a flat tire ...
Called the fiance ...
He came and changed it for me ...
He's a keeper! :)

I'm wondering what else can happen ...
What else can I test drive ...
While waiting for my car to be fixed

Wow. You have quite the automobile adventure going on, don't you?!

What are you going to do with the great looking Shera outfit with the red cape??
You can't wear that in a blue car:)

i'm not such a fan of the present car ... weird sight lines ... i'm a little weary of the adventure too ... i'm almost looking forward to my little ol' sangria red focus zx5

BOB ... the shera outfit will have to hang in the closet ... i just got a new one left at my desk (1st century biblical) ... i need to go find a donkey or something

You can't wear shera at work?

PATTI! perhaps if i worked at CF! :)

AN ASIDE ... was down at soupfest at lunch. MMMMMMMMMMMMM delicious stuff. Had the jambalaya from The Collins (Dundas), Coconut Chicken from My Thai, and the Wild Boar from Whistling Walrus. Highly delectable!

oh come on, give it a shot.

i'll bet there's nothing about shera in the policy manual.

thai coconut soup....mmmmm.

Don G said: ( Having trouble with my password ) Kelly, that Grand Prix looks like a much sleeker auto-moe-beele than the Avenger. Silver coloured too ! Just like a bullet ! Isn't it fun test driving all these machines ? Maybe if the Focus is held up much longer you might get to try a Jag.

Patti ... i re-read the policy manual just this week (SERIOUSLY!) ... mostly because a former staff member wanted a copy sent to them. BUT ... it mentioned the wearing of denim ... and how that was a no-no ...

I'm almost positive the SHERA is part of the "did we really need to specify THAT?" section.

You sure seem to be having your fair share of car problems.
Us guys are kind of handy when it comes to cars aren't we? It's what we do. Your guy came to your rescue. Yup, you got a keeper.
Just enjoy the ride with the rentals, no pun intended. I'm sure you'll be happy to get old faithfull back though. A car is kind of like a pair of shoes. They're more comfortable when they're worn in a little.

my brother was in town last week. he rented a Suzuki Swift ---- really small (this from a guy who seriously considered buying a Smart Car - see for yourself if you don't believe me - http://damkessoapbox.blogspot.com/2007/05/obsession.html)

if you have to change cars again, try downgrading, see how the rest of us live.

=)

No denim.

Please accept my sympathy.

Kelly said...

yeah ... denim ... it's blatently ignored by a few members of the staff on an almost daily basis and by me on Fridays ...

rebel eh?!

Patti said...

Sometimes I dress up, in rebellion.

I know a place where you could wear the Shera outfit to church!!
Its the same place where the pastor rebels by dressing up:)
At least 3 times now we have had 2 clowns (in full clown outfits)sitting at the back of the church during worship and not a single person batted an eye.

I noticed Patti has a rebellious nephew that likes to dress up to. He's only 3 feet tall and likes to where a suit to church! From what I understand, that was his choice. That's a testamony to freedom of expression. My hats off to his parents. He's going to grow up being very sure of himself.
Don't you love a church that accepts you just the way you want to be and doesn't sweat the really unimportant stuff like what clothes you wear?
Awesome! That's one of the things that always attracted me to CF.

It's true, I have a little "Alex P. Keaton" for a nephew!
