A favourite quote from one of my favourite people.
He was in church yesterday.
He'd spent a few weeks in hospital.
Was feeling well enough to go home and to join us for worship.
He passed away yesterday afternoon.
I'm going to miss him.

Read his obit in the paper this morning. I look at them faithfully every day to make sure my name isn't there !
It caught my eye when I saw he belonged to a sister congregation.
Thanks for the synopsis. It's great to see what others have done and that they get respect for a life well lived. What's most comforting is to know he's with the Lord.
